With deep expertise in the housebuilding sector, HERA is a champion for small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) housebuilders.
In addition to Anna Geffert role as Director of the Regional & Bespoke Housebuilders Forum, HERA serves as Secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for SME Housebuilders, the cross-party Westminster forum that examines the regulatory environment facing smaller developers and makes recommendations to improve housing delivery across the UK. In this role, HERA helps shape the policy conversation at the highest levels of government, ensuring the SME housebuilding sector has a powerful and co-ordinated voice in Parliament.
HERA also supports the Regional Building Foundation, part of The King's Foundation, which seeks to revitalise regional housebuilding capacity by empowering local SME developers to deliver more homes with distinctive character rooted in their communities.
Alongside this policy and advocacy work, HERA leads the I Am a Housebuilder initiative, championing greater diversity in housebuilding through mentoring and targeted campaigns to diversify and strengthen the sector's future workforce.
